It’s all in the timing…

Whether or not someone is ready to take a chance on an opportunity often depends on their perspective in life at the time. A financial crunch will certainly have you looking at business opportunities that you would not have even considered in a day of blessed wealth. The same can be said about salvation… when life is good, your family is well, and you have money in the bank you may be like the man in Luke 12: 19-20 who said “And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?

My dear friend Doyle Ballengee who is now with the Lord always said, “Go ahead and call me a fanatic about Christ. When your life is in trouble, you’ll be looking for a fanatic!” I loved that about him!

You may say, I’m not ready to be saved, and you may be a breath a way from being or wishing you were ready. It is all about the timing.

Make sure it’s real…

There’s a million scammers out there waiting to lead you down a path of destruction. What they care about is what’s in their mirror. Any means justifies an end if they make money. It does indeed matter what’s in the mirror, because at the end of this life, be it business, family or spiritual, you have but one to answer to. Did you accept Christ as your Savior? Was He within you? And how did you live for Him? It is all about “Him”. He is real.

If it’s real… Hang on!

My why is my family, my friends, and even people that I don’t know. I do not want anyone to go to that terrible place called Hell. It too is real. And at the end of my journey, when I stand before Christ, I want Him to say, well done thou good and faithful servant…
