TURN YOUR SOUND UP! & ENJOY THE TITLE CUT OF HER NEW ALBUM
Tracy Miller was born May 30th, 1970 near the little town of Reedy in Roane County West Virginia. Singing in church by the age of two, Tracy grew up listening to a variety of musical influences ranging from her parents to local gospel groups such as The Christian Four, as well as country artists like Dolly Parton and Merle Haggard. She later began listening to the bluegrass styles of Mac Wiseman, Ricky Skaggs and the Osborne Brothers incorporating their influences into her sound. Although a singer from childhood, Tracy has opted to be a wife and mother first and has only recently pursued music with a serious effort.
Tracy’s son Brayden, was seriously burned in an accident and out of that experience and his subsequent healing, she was inspired to start writing gospel songs. Tracy recorded “Healing Bed”, a collection of mostly original material with a few standards thrown in for good measure. While still a fulltime wife, mother, and beautician, Tracy has taken to performing on a regular basis in churches and sitting in at the occasional fair or festival with Johnny Staats. She resides near Spencer with her husband Tony and sons Brett and Brayden.
